Attached Storage Server
- Purpose - Storage of STATscript Online's audio files and transcribed audio files

The Network Attached Storage server performs daily backups of the 'Sound' server's audio files as well as the backend database and front-end HTML/scripts. The NAS server has 2 independent NIC cards built into the box - one interface is dedicated to Internet transactions and has an IP address that can be reached from the public Internet, while the secondary interface is a private side address that is used for internal backups from the servers. This backup scheme provides for yet another layer of security.
